I will overwhelm 'credible boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.

Ex two-time world boxing king Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami arena on 19 December.

Fighter's Mentality

"I'm going to injure his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35, said.

"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.

"I will really want to cause him pain. That's my intention."

Respectful Exchange

Despite such comments, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally famous for his theatrics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul rather targeted ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK opponent Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.

"I acknowledge that."

Legitimate Fighter

Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.

Jake Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Success

Still, the novice continues to be one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, consistently making substantial earnings.

Forecast and Belief

The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in round four or five and claimed he would stop the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.

"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.

Physical Disparity

As both boxers participated in the traditional face-off, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it emphasized just how improbable this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is actually proceeding.
